Houston Hymn

A revealing performance recalled

On the lewd show that sparked the blood,

Her wardrobe to our gaze unfurled,

Here once the bejewelled Janet stood

And bared the breast seen round the world.

The Panther long since in silence slept,

    Alike the Patriot silent sleeps,

And Time those ancient stats has swept

To a data bank some sports wonk keeps.

In this arena, as in a dream,

We recall today what was shown

That memory may the sight redeem

   Whene'er we lack testosterone.

Songstress, who boldy dared to share

One flash of your stellar ruby—

At which a transfixed globe did stare—

This shaft we raise to thy booby.
